Datenschutzerklärung

Jolnova („die App“, „wir“) ist eine Windows-Desktop-Anwendung die Livestreams automatisch in kurze, hochkante Videos verwandelt. Diese Erklärung beschreibt, welche Daten wir verarbeiten und warum.

1. Die App läuft auf deinem Computer

Aufnahme, Schnitt, Transkription und Bildverarbeitung laufen alle auf deinem eigenen Computer. Aufnahmen und Clips liegen auf deiner lokalen Festplatte — sie werden nicht auf unsere Server hochgeladen.

2. Daten, die wir verarbeiten

• Kontodaten: deine E-Mail-Adresse und, wenn du dich mit Google anmeldest, dein Name und dein Profilbild. Genutzt für Anmeldung und Aboverwaltung. Unser Anbieter für die Anmeldung ist Supabase.
• Abodaten: Tarifart und Status. Kartendaten speichern wir nie — die verarbeitet der Zahlungsanbieter.
• Streaminhalte: die öffentlich verfügbaren Übertragungsdaten der Streamer, denen du folgst (Video, Ton, Chatnachrichten), werden vorübergehend zur Cliperstellung verarbeitet und lokal gespeichert.
• KI-Verarbeitung: um Titel und Beschreibung eines Clips zu schreiben, werden Transkript und eine Chat-Zusammenfassung an die Anthropic-API (Claude) gesendet. Diese Daten werden nicht zum Trainieren von Modellen genutzt.
• Gerätekennung: damit ein Abo nicht auf beliebig vielen Rechnern läuft, leitet die Anwendung eine Kennung von deinem Computer ab und sendet sie bei der Anmeldung. Auf unserem Server wird sie ausschließlich als HMAC-Hash aufbewahrt — die rohe Kennung wird nie gespeichert, und aus dem Hash lassen sich keine Informationen über deine Hardware zurückgewinnen. Sie dient allein dazu zu zählen, auf wie vielen Rechnern ein Konto aktiv ist.
• Nutzungsstatistik: eine kleine Zahlenübersicht deiner eigenen Aktivität, nach Tag und Plattform gruppiert (kick, twitch, youtube, tiktok, Datei oder sonstige), mit vier Zählern: wie viele Clips erstellt, freigegeben, abgelehnt und heruntergeladen wurden. Wir nutzen sie, um zu verstehen, wie das Produkt verwendet wird, und um zu prüfen, dass die Abogrenzen korrekt greifen. Die einzige beigefügte Kennung ist die UUID deines Kontos, die aus deinem Anmeldetoken gelesen und nicht in den Daten selbst mitgeführt wird — deine E-Mail-Adresse wird nicht gesendet, die oben beschriebene Gerätekennung ebenfalls nicht.
• Clip feedback: when you approve or reject a clip, we record that decision together with the numeric signals the app used to pick that moment — its score, what triggered it (chat reaction or a jump in loudness), its length, the layout, the number of chat messages in the window, and a set of measurements such as how much of the clip is speech and how much of the chat looked like laughter. The name of the streamer the clip came from is included, because a football broadcast and a slots stream need different settings and that difference cannot be learned without it. Your account UUID is attached. We use this only to improve which moments the app selects. The clip itself is never sent — not the video, not a preview image, not the title, not the transcript, not the chat text, and not the clip's file name (only a one-way hash of it, used so the same decision is not counted twice).

None of the data above carries clip content. Video files, preview images, clip titles, subtitle text and chat messages are never sent to our servers. The only place a channel name appears is the clip feedback described above; usage statistics do not contain it.

3. Google / YouTube data

If you choose to connect your YouTube account on the Sharing page, the app requests only these permissions through Google OAuth:

• youtube.upload — to upload clips you approved and scheduled to your own channel
• youtube.readonly — to display the name of the connected channel

Important points:

• Your access token is stored only on your computer and is never sent to us.
• No video is ever uploaded without your approval — you approve the clip and pick the day and time yourself.
• We do not use YouTube data for advertising, and we never sell or transfer it to third parties.
• Jolnova's use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy also applies.
• You can disconnect at any time with “Disconnect” in the app, or revoke our access from your Google account permissions page.

Wie diese Daten geschützt werden

Jolnova is a desktop application, so the strongest protection is structural: your Google and YouTube data is not collected by us in the first place.

• Auf unseren Servern wird nichts gespeichert. We operate no database, log or backup containing your YouTube data. Your access and refresh tokens, your channel name and your clips exist only on your own computer.
• Verschlüsselt bei der Übertragung. Every request to Google and YouTube is sent over HTTPS (TLS). The application makes no unencrypted network calls with this data.
• Unter deinem Betriebssystemkonto gespeichert. The token file is written to your private Windows user folder (%LOCALAPPDATA%), which Windows restricts to your own account with file system permissions. Other standard users on the same computer cannot read it.
• Minimale Rechte. We request only the two scopes listed above. We do not request permission to read, edit or delete any other video, and the application contains no code that could do so.
• Du hast den Ausschalter. “Disconnect” in the application deletes the stored token from your disk immediately. Revoking access in your Google account settings invalidates it on Google's side as well.
• Keine Weitergabe. This data is never sold, rented or shared with third parties, and is never used for advertising or for training any model.
• Eingeschränkter menschlicher Zugriff. Because the data never reaches our systems, no Jolnova employee or contractor can access your YouTube data at all.

4. Retention and deletion

• Streamaufnahmen werden automatisch gelöscht nach 6 Stunden standardmäßig, damit sie deine Festplatte nicht füllen.
• Du kannst jeden Clip jederzeit aus der App löschen.
• Wenn du dein Konto und deine Daten vollständig entfernt haben willst, schreib uns einfach.

5. Third-party services

Supabase (authentication and subscriptions), Anthropic (AI text generation) and Google/YouTube (only if you connect your channel on the Sharing page). Jolnova does not connect to any posting account on its own, and uploads only the clips you approved and scheduled yourself.

6. Children's privacy

Jolnova ist nicht für Personen unter 18 Jahren bestimmt.

7. Changes

Diese Erklärung kann aktualisiert werden. Bei wesentlichen Änderungen aktualisieren wir das Datum auf dieser Seite.
